Can you guess what we do in the evenings?
We sit out and watch the chickens.
Is this quite a variety of chicks?
The Anconas are the ones with the black on their backs. They started out almost completely yellow with just a few black spots and they will end up black with only a few white spots. The Buff Lace Polish will be kinda peachy colored and will have a foo-foo fuzzball on top of their heads. Can you see it already forming?
This is the new area where the chickens haven’t even been yet but we’re all set up to watch them. They’ll be so excited to come outside and explore . . for the first time.

About your eye. I too am experiencing a similar struggle with my eye. I cannot offer anything that is remotely comforting as it is an individual experience. Just do as the doc says and I wish you the best possible outcome.

Today I went and looked at a 5+ acre property that I would love to buy, but I don’t think we, as a family, are ready to do it. I just felt so at home there and even though the house had a few ‘rough spots’ it certainly was acceptable to me. There was a lovely spring/stream fed pond – with fish – 6 sheep – cherry trees, grape vines loaded with immature grapes, pine trees, maple trees, and the wind through those trees, I had every vision of doing what you and Vince are doing, relaxing in chairs, watching the critters, and enjoying a small slice of “near-heaven”. Then my son brought me back to reality by being totally opposed to a move of any kind. I dream. Son may have no choice unless he wants to live under a bridge ;p
