Happy New Year! I hope you all have a healthy, happy and fun 2015.
We had an exciting New Year’s Eve .. waiting for the ice to get here, watching football on tv and knitting.
Rita spent her first New Year’s Eve sitting on her perch watching the door . . just in case someone drove up and she needed to bark. From getting Rita’s sweater on this morning, I think she’s in the same boat as the rest of us around here . . the clothes are getting a bit snug!
Old Speck did what he does best . . sleeps in my chair under a quilt.
I have lots of hopes and expectations for 2015. One thing I’m hoping is that no dogs or cats show up here needing a home! ๐

Happy New Year Judy & Vince! I feel for you Rita, my clothes have been a little snug lately too. I have knitting on my schedule for today, as well as watching the Badgers game (they haven’t faired too well in the bowl games recently).
Please tell Vince the “other” Amy will do her best to NOT enable you to buy yarn/patterns this year because we’re going to be BUSTING STASH!!! Off to start BlueSand.

Happy New Year! Quiet one here as well, although did actually see it come in this year! Mid 30’s and rain this morning. Anytime we can start the year off with rain is hopeful! Not good for the parades, but the ground, plants and lakes sure enjoy it!

Happy New Year, Judy and family! hum, dogs and cats don’t seem to be populating your place as much as chickens! Is old Meanie still around? You haven’t said much about them lately, As for me-I will be scooting around on one of my sewing chairs since I had the foot surgery Monday and am too cheap to buy a walker/rollator! Wheeled sewing chairs are working fine so far and starting to get used to the crutches. Got sore muscles from having to use different ones to sit up, stand and use the crutches-but know things will improve in a week or so!
Not doing any mystery quilts today, will save them for when the foot is better. Do have the QAL from Laura to work on-enjoying it (broke down and bought the pattern!) Love the feel of the yarn

Happy New Year to you, Vince and your fur babies. I totally enjoy reading about all your activities – cooking, knitting, quilting and gardening. You keep me trying new things in the kitchen, and I love seeing what patterns you are starting. Thanks for sharing your life with us, Judy.
