Ahh, New Year’s Day . . what a way to start the new year . . with an “OTN” report. Several things are on my needles:
First, I started Final Frontier because Nicole is working on this and she needed a bit of help and I figured it would be easier if I’m knitting it than trying to figure out how to her midway through the instructions. The yarn is Blue Moon Targhee Worsted and the color is Enchanted Forest.
On my “Knitting 2015” post, my January projects were Blue Sand for me and Monkey Mittens for Addie. Since I just gave Addie her Chicken Mittens, I’m not going to make the Monkey Mittens right now so . . I pulled out my Blue Sand and am working on that also.
And, last . . because Addie thinks every time I see her, I should have at least one sweater for her, here’s my progress on Sheep Sweater & Hat. The pattern is the same for the front and back but the back has more elaborate instructions and the front says “measure the same as the back” in several spots. Since I started with the back, as instructed, but am not making more of these sheep, this is the front so I had to stop working on it and I’ll do the back, then the top can be made to measure the same as the back!
I’m hoping to at least get some good progress made on all three of these during January.

Your Blue Sand sweater is really pretty! I like the colors. And I am sure that Addie will like her Sheep sweater. It is just lovely!

I had to read the sheep comments more than once until I understood that the sheep are on the front now. I kept saying to myself, that little one won’t be happy that she can’t see the sheep! Now I understand – good change.

Aww – that’s so cute that Addie expects a sweater for herself each time she sees you. That’s true knitting-appreciation, I think!

If you haven’t sworn off sheep yet: there is a hat pattern with a band of sheep named ” Baablehat”. Just sayin’… Happy New Year!
