In the midst of all the craziness with my trip to Louisiana, I guess I never told you how the macarons turned out . . since several are asking.
They were amazing!
I didn’t think they were hard to make at all. The recipe I used called for boiling syrup to be poured into the beaten egg whites. They turned out perfect and I will definitely make them again.
They’re VERY sweet . . like a meringue with filling, but they’re pretty impressive if you’re serving them where impressive matters.
