You’ve already seen the Poncho Knit Along I’m doing. No more knitting has been done since I took this picture Wednesday night.
I’m also working on a Brain Frieze cowl. It looks somewhat complicated but it is so easy and so quick. I think I started it Tuesday and have mostly been knitting on the poncho. The picture is bad . . taken late last night on a quilt on my lap. The cowl is so scrunched up on the short circular needles that it’s hard to get a good picture. I’m hoping to finish it this weekend and get it blocked. It takes one skein of a solidish yarn and one skein of a variegated yarn. It may have called for DK weight and I’m using Malabrigo Rios, which is worsted weight.
If you have folks on your Christmas list that might like a cowl, this one is fairly inexpensive and quick to make. I’ll have to weigh all the yarn once I’m finished but I’m thinking that from two balls of each yarn, you could make three cowls.
That’s pretty much what I’ve worked on this week. No knitting was done on the Almost There that I’m going to steek . . maybe next week!
Please share what’s on your knitting needles. Thanks!
