Yesterday I came across the Carbeth Cardigan and it looks wearable for this area. Most often, we don’t need a heavy coat but a heavy sweater can be handy. I went digging through my bulky yarn stash and came up with some Cascade Eco +.
Vince had to run to town to take some papers to be filled out by the doctor so I went along for the ride and sat in the car and knitted while he went in and got everything done. Not bad . . got the swatch done while running around with Vince.
Last night I cast on and got a bit of the ribbing done. This is the first time I’ve made a bottom up sweater.
Working with bulky yarn is a nice change from working with fingering and sport weight.

Nice style Judy! I love the color you chose for this pattern! You knit so fast too .. you will have this done soon. Hope Vince is feeling somewhat better.

I love that color. It’s going to be beautiful. Glad to see you got some knitting time in — and glad that Vince is feeling better. Well, better enough to do some running around anyway. Have a good, restful weekend!

I like this sweater! It will look good on you too. Love the color you chose as well. The only sweaters I have done have been bottom up! I would like to try the others sometime!
