Like most other fruits and veggies, home grown garlic is pretty amazing.
These pictures were from year before last when we had so much garlic.
We use a lot of garlic. Chad loves garlic. A friend’s daughter loves garlic so I try to plant enough to share.
I mostly ordered from Hood River Garlic, where I’ve ordered in the past, but because they were out of a couple varieties I wanted, I ordered a couple more pounds from another place. Softneck varieties are recommended for our warm winters but there are a few hardneck they say work well in warmer winters so . . we’ll see. The first three are softneck varieties that I’ve grown before.
Here, I’ll plant the garlic in October and harvest it probably in June.
