I wonder what goes through a cat’s head. I do believe Boots thinks everything I do is about him. Cat isn’t that way at all. Cat wants to be petted on her terms but then she wants to go hide and watch from a distance, or totally ignore everything I’m doing and hope I ignore her.
I was trying to organize yarn again this morning. Before he got totally fed up with me being in his room, he got into the yarn tub. As I would add each skein to my list, I’d toss it into the tub. Boots, pretending to be trying to sleep, would grab each skein, take off with it and I’d have to chase him down to retrieve my yarn. I tried gently placing the yarn in the tub and not making it look so much like a ball flying in there. Nope, that didn’t help. I tried putting it into bags and then dumping the bags in there but then he thought the bags were fun to get into. He’s a fun kitty but just not much help!
Maybe I’m destined to live with my yarn as it is . . mostly just yarn neatly tucked into tubs but with little organization.
All I wanted to do was get all the TML in one tub, all the Twist Light in one tub, all the Hedgehog into one tub . . not going to happen today. I got most of the TML into one tub, only because it was already in one tub and just needed to be in a bigger tub.
