Staying in hotels is something I have a real hard time doing. I get in the bed and I have all kinds of thoughts about who slept there last night, how clean the bathroom is, whether naked people sat in the chairs. It’s really all I can do to stay in a hotel but sometimes . . you just have to do it.
One thing that bothers me that is easily solved – the lighting in the room. The lamps must all have 10 watt bulbs in them. Trying to sit and knit is right near impossible. I’ve started bringing my own light bulbs. I put their bulbs right by my keys so I can remember to retrieve my bulbs. So far, I’ve never forgotten them, or broken one.
Vince recently found these 800 lumens, LED and they were $1 each. I think it was at Dollar Tree. Can’t beat that deal and it will be so nice to have decent light in a couple of lamps on my next hotel stay.
