August 9th, 2008 · 8 Comments

It’s 10:30 and I’m quitting for the day. Because tomorrow will have the Mr. Linky for the stash reports, I’m going to add Mr. Linky in this report for the Quiltathon. It will work for both days so if you have a report for Saturday and a report for Sunday, just make two [...]

Quiltathon Day 1 Progress

August 9th, 2008 · 17 Comments

The day isn’t over and I’m not stopping til I can’t sew any more.  This morning, trying to be quiet til Chad woke up, I loaded a quilt on the longarm, then trimmed two for bindings.  Then I began sewing.
I chain stitched a zillion four patch blocks.

Then I cut them all apart and stacked them [...]

Day 2 July Quiltathon

July 18th, 2008 · 20 Comments

Did anyone really think I’d accomplish everything I planned to do yesterday?  I didn’t!  I got the quilt on the longarm finished.  Got a second quilt loaded and bobbins wound for when I do get a chance to quilt.  For the borders, I needed 64 simple border blocks done.  I thought I had them made [...]

Quiltathon Sunday

June 29th, 2008 · 23 Comments

Anyone sewing with me today? I’m working on borders. Want to guess which quilt?
Too much time was wasted this morning debating with myself about a new camera. I really want the Nikon D80 but I don’t need it. Part of me (10%) wants to be reasonable and part of [...]

Sewing Yet?

June 4th, 2008 · 21 Comments

My plans were to be up real early sewing but this huge storm came through last night (this story is sounding kinda like “the dog ate my homework”!).  I was downstairs (basement) working on a pattern and Vince was upstairs in bed.  About 11:30 he came running down the stairs saying the wind was horrible!  [...]
