Hi Judy,
would you please help me figuring things out related to copyright? I really really like Vicky’s quilt, but you don’t offer the pattern for sale. Not really a problem since I’m quite good at figuring things out and lousy at following directions anyway (praying my kids don’t ever read this!). Oh, and I’m in Canada, in a francophone e.g. not quilting region, so there is no way I could take a workshop from you.
So if I were to make a quilt from the photo on your blog, and if I were to sell it, where are you being compensated for your work and your ideas?
To be more specific: I make quilts one at a time, no production line, and I am a single mother on disability trying to put kids through school and university, so I easily come across as cheapskate, but I honestly don’t want to infringe on anyone’s rights.
And you don’t want to hurry with an answer, I’m up to my neck in projects ……
