Once you’ve chosen your fabrics for the Star BOM, post it on your blog, share pictures, then add your link to the Mr. Linky box below.
Be sure you’re adding the link for your separate blog entry and not for your entire blog. We want people clicking on the links to go to the specific post about your fabric selection and not to your blog front page.
Example: For my link, I would NOT post http://www.patchworktimes.com but I would post this link: http://www.patchworktimes.com/star-bom-fabric-selections
Any links that are going directly to the main page of blogs will be removed. A month or two from now when someone clicks on the links to our fabric selections, they’re not going to wade through a month of posts to get to the specific posts about your fabric. I’ll add a link box for each block so by the end, we’ll have links to fabric selection, 13 blocks, settings and then completed tops.

Hey Judy, can we post a picture of the quilt on our webpage or would you prefer we didn’t do that cause of cpoywrite issues.

I just added myself to Mr. Linky but I have not had time to choose the fabric yet. I will hopefully get that done in the next week. Thanks for sharing this wonderful pattern with use.

OK. I think I’m IN! Pictures posted on my blog. Correct link given, I think. Ready for block #1. By the way, Judy, purple /blue and yellow are my favorite colors, so you are making me one happy quilter!

Hi Judy: Sue R turned me on to your site - I think this will be fun - I’ve got most of my fabrics, just need a couple more (gotta go shopping - pooh!) then I will post the pics.

I posted mine. Actually mine will be scrappy to hopefully avoid buying more fabric, but you will get the general idea.

Thank you Judy fro sharing this pattern with us. I am using a fabric I bought with my sister in mind, that is the focus fabric. I hope it will turn into something she would like to have.

Hi Judy,
Thanks for sharing and teaching this lovely star quilt.
I have posted my fabric selection and left a link but I mucked up the first link and had to do a second!!!
I think I am a fabric short and I probably will add another lighter gold or other lighter colour into the centre star blocks. I hope I have enough contrast with the fabrics. Not an easy task.
I have included in my post your image and name etc of the quilt layout and if you prefer me not to do this then let me know and I will remove it.
Looking forward to starting.
Kind regards from Liz

Judy I am so looking forward to making this quilt now that I have some fabrics chosen. I still need to select my contrast colours, but having the first four fabrics chosen is the biggy.

I just posted a picture of my fabric selection. I will be using many of my smaller pieces of fabric so my quilt will be very scrappy looking. Looking forward to getting started.

I finally got my fabrics selected and a photo posted. This really is a different look for me, and I’m excited to be a part of this BOM. I do love stars! And I’ve always wanted to do a ribbon border.

I’m really enjoying your blog (5:15 a.m., and you can operate a camera?!) and decided to join in on the Star BoM. I’ve washed, ironed, photographed, and blogged about my fabrics. Next up: sew the first block! I’m late, but I’ll get there.
31 Jean // Aug 8, 2008 at 3:07 pm
OK I am ready to start this. My first time doing a BOM. I will be shoppig for my fabric this weekend and will post my materials as soon as I can figure out how to do it.

Okay, I am committed because I signed up with Mr. Linky. And I ended up here because my friend, Sue H., mentioned your project on her blog. I only hope I can keep up!!

Better late than never? I’m excited about my fabric choices and about starting a new project!
