Sadly, I have nothing on my design wall. I’m still in a hotel. You can’t imagine how badly I want to get home and sew. Please share what’s on your design wall. I will live vicariously through those of you who have been able to sew.

What’s on your design wall? This picture has been posted already but it’s what I’m currently working on. I’ve made a total of 6 blocks and I think I need 15.

On my design wall is yet another Big Star. I have enough blocks to make the bigger version or two smaller versions. I’m tempted to make the bigger version and be done with Big Star for a while or . . I may put it all away and work on something else. Can’t decide! The colors remind me of spring and I’m so ready for spring.

On my design wall are just borders. It’s kinda like eating your dessert first to make the borders before making the top. It’s probably against all rules of quilting to make the borders first but it works for me.

If these Design Wall posts are meant to inspire, then mine is a big let down this week!
Kinda boring colors . . just a bunch of little squares. It will turn out ok though . . EQ told me so!
Here’s one block that’s taped in front of my face so I can’t get it wrong while sewing. I know . . I can get it wrong and I probably will!

What’s on your design wall?
Peaches and Dreams is on my lineup for workshops this year and the first time I’m teaching it is in March. Since the one I made went to Chad’s friend for a wedding gift, I’m making another one. The original one is about 90″ x 104″ but the one I’m making now is going to be about 60″ x 80″. It will travel around with me and I wouldn’t have minded making it even smaller but when I’m finished with it being in my trunk show, I can donate it so . . 60″ x 80″ is what it will be. This is where I am with it right now.
