I pieced the backing for my friend’s quilt and have it loaded on the longarm so I can start quilting as soon as I finish the top.  I manage to procrastinate when it comes to getting the quilt loaded so by having the backing already done, I’ll hopefully start quilting the minute the top is done.

Something got used this week! Yay! I used the panel, along with some fabric to make borders for the circus baby quilt. I don’t know how much I used so I’m going to say 2 yards since the top is 41″ x 55″. For the backing, I cut two lengths that were 48″ long and made the backing 48″ x 80″. What was trimmed off went into the scrap bag for my aunt. For the binding, I used right at 1/2 yard so that’s a total used this week of 5 yards. Nothing added.
