You may remember that I made several shawls last year with Curious Handmade’s Shawl Society. The “Society” is where you pay up front and 6 or so (I can’t remember the exact number) of shawl patterns are released over a period of . . a while . . maybe six months. Curious Handmade’s patterns are amazing. I love how she writes them and it makes them so easy to follow. I also love doing “group” projects.
When Curious Handmade announced that there was going to be a “Sock Society“, I said no . . I’m not doing it but then I caved and bought the package this morning.
The first pattern will be released on February 5. Will I make all six patterns? Probably not but I’ll make at least a few of them. Anyone want to join me?

Yay! I just signed up, I had a lot of fun doing the shawl society last year. Its a good way to use up stash yarn. Where else can you get 6 different sock patterns for 13.99? I like that they are every other month too. Thanks for the link!

I’ve been going back and forth on this one – join, don’t join – I’m still undecided.

Thanks, Judy, I just joined! I have a really long, skinny foot so knit most of my socks toe up. It will be interesting to see if I change the patterns to accommodate that or just bite the bullet and knit! I can’t wait to choose my yarns!

You and Denise Russart are both very good at being enablers. Between your two blogs, I have purchased more things than I will ever live long enough to do. Why didn’t I get so involved in knitting before my 70’s??? Thanks for all the inspiration. I just joined and am looking forward to making socks.

Hi Judy, I’ve been following your blog for a while now and I am so inspired by you and how much you can accomplish – I have knit socks for everyone in my family, but I am curious about toe up patterns. Do you know if this sock society have any patterns that are toe up? I need a challenge! Thanks! Betty
