Along with Eat, Sleep, Knit’s regular Yarnathon prizes, last year and this year, they have an MVP award. If you earn 30 stars during the year, which isn’t impossible but it takes some serious knitting, along with a bit of shopping, it can be done. This year, so far, I’m up to 11 stars. If I finish the Hue Shift Afghan, and I probably will, that’s an additional 16.5 stars so that alone would put me at 27.5 stars. We earn stars on quarterly Knit Alongs and those can total up to 12 stars so, for those of us with decent stashes, we could get to 30 stars simply from knitting without spending too much money. If you are a knitter and aren’t already familiar with Eat, Sleep, Knit’s Yarnathon, you can read about it here.
I knew from the chatter on Ravelry that the prizes from last year were starting to arrive, and I knew from tracking that mine was going to arrive yesterday or . . at least it was supposed to arrive yesterday.
My package had a bit of a rough ride!
There was a plastic ESK cup in there and I was a bit concerned about its condition but everything was in the package and fine.
There’s a little project bag (red), a small notions bag (pink), an ESK pink pen, an ESK enamel pin, the cup and a skein of Madelinetosh Eyre Light yarn. I have not used Eyre Light. It’s a single ply yarn and those aren’t normally my favorites but it does have good ratings and I will try it.

We are twinsies almost (I got same color bags) except for the yarn – I got Yoko which is one of my favorite colors. It’s amazing the cup survived that box!

I wonder how many times they backed the truck over that one! LOL. Glad everything was undamaged!

I won an eBay auction in October. It was never received. The lady refunded my money and filed a claim. Last week, 122 days later I got my purchase. The box was in perfect condition, not even dusty. Where it was, is anybody’s guess.
