It was probably Saturday when I finished the main part of my Camp Loopy July project. It’s a shawl. The pattern is Jurata. I knew the border was going to take some time but, oh, my goodness . . it’s taking forever!
This project will definitely benefit from a good blocking. With each row of the border, you pick up one edge stitch on the shawl. I think I still have 14 more border repeats to go. I’ve done 5. I’m hoping to be able to do 3 per day. That will still get me finished in plenty of time before the deadline.
I’m so ready to be done with this project. That’s never a good feeling. If this weren’t for Camp Loopy, I would put this aside to finish it later and you know . . for me . . later never comes!
