It’s hard to believe that Load #20 just came out of the freeze dryer. It arrived on June 23 and everything pretty much takes 2 or 3 days (some longer), and I’ve been gone a couple of times. The freeze dryer doesn’t sit idle long!
There are 3 quarts, 2 pints and 4 half pints (I brought one half pint in the house for us to have). On about 1/3 of the zucchini, I sprinkled onion powder. On the rest, I sprinkled cajun spice mix. The onion powder zucchini is ok . . nothing special. The cajun spice . . so yummy!
These are so much healthier than potato chips and they’re crunchy and they will be a great substitute for potato chips. I told Vince these will be so good when we’re traveling and want a snack. The little half pint jars will be great for that.
The next load is in the freeze dryer . . the loads are stacking up faster than the freeze dryer can work.

I’d say it’s definitely earning its keep!
