I’ve always said I don’t dream but people tell me that we all dream . . some of us don’t remember our dreams. I’ve had two crazy dreams this week that I remembered.
The first one . . I dreamed there was a worm on the bedroom ceiling. It was so real! I could see him up there wiggling around and he was making a dirty spot. I was thinking . . if I try to knock him down, he’s probably going to fall on the bed and awaken Vince. Then, I could see the worm losing his grip, fixing to fall. I jumped up, turned on the bedside lamp and walked over to where the worm had fallen. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I grabbed the flashlight that sits by the bed. Still couldn’t find it. Then, I realized I had dreamed about that worm because it was still dark in the bedroom and I could not have even seen the worm on the ceiling.
The second one . . last night! I think I only remembered that because I had drank too much water late and nature called.
I have cut some elderberry snips and have them in water to root. Yesterday, I changed out the water, inspected the stems for roots. There were none and I had wondered how long it would take before they rooted. Last night I dreamed that when I got up this morning, those three elderberry snips had sprouted roots and had taken over the kitchen. They were wrapped around the fridge, the stove, and I could not even get into the kitchen for the elderberry roots. Vince came in to see why I was making such a commotion and he wanted to go to Walmart and buy a new coffee pot because he couldn’t get to his coffee pot for the roots. All he cared about was coffee.
Then I woke up. How crazy is that?
