Let me make bread any day but cakes . . just not my favorite to bake or eat.
This is going to be a keto chocolate cake. Almond flour, ground flax seeds, cocoa, butter, eggs, sweetener, baking powder and espresso powder. You know it isn’t for me . . not with chocolate and espresso . . I like neither. And don’t worry, all that butter doesn’t go into the cake. I grabbed two blocks from the outside fridge to bring to the fridge in the house.
I believe the recipe said it’s 6 carbs per serving but that’s for a one layer cake and I’m making two layer so if we cut tiny pieces, we can probably still count it as 6 – 8 carbs. The recipe also said it freezes well so I’ll probably cut the cake into quarters and freeze three quarters separately and see how that goes.
There should be lots of “good wife points” for doing this!
