We made it home yesterday afternoon. 675 miles from here to there; 675 miles back, lots of miles of running around while there. Two nights in hotels; four nights in cabins. More carbs than I want to even think about!
We had ice cream (more than once). This one is the Cherry Bash from Andy’s Custard and I am thankful we don’t have one here. It has cherries, crushed Heath Bars, chocolate syrup and almonds.
We had Raising Cane’s fried chicken, french fries and toast buttered on both sides.
We had fried pies, Dr. Pepper, watermelon, peaches, plums, grapes (healthy but lots of carbs). We had pizza!
I had taken the leftover smoked pork loin and a partial prime rib and we did have those with good veggies two nights but other than those two nights . . we threw caution to the wind and ate whatever we wanted.
Today, the diet begins again. Even worse, I have a doctor’s appointment today and will have to step on the scales. Ouch!
